Looking for something else?
Not every great live act fits neatly into a category. In fact, some of the most memorable entertainment ideas are the ones that are a little harder to describe.
You might know the atmosphere you want to create without knowing what kind of act will deliver it. Perhaps you're looking for something unusual, something built around a particular style of music or simply an idea your guests won't have seen before.
That's absolutely fine. Sound Choice is designed to help you discover live entertainment by experience as well as by traditional labels.
Search for the experience you want
You don't need to know the industry term for the act you're looking for. Try describing what you actually want to happen at your event.
You might search for an energetic band that gets the audience involved, live music for a relaxed afternoon, something theatrical for a venue or an unusual show for a company celebration.
Explore Sound Choice and use the search to describe the kind of entertainment you have in mind.
Start with the occasion
If you're not sure what kind of act you want, thinking about the event itself can be a much easier place to start.
Explore wedding entertainment, live entertainment for private parties, corporate event entertainment or live entertainment for festivals and venues to see acts suited to different occasions.
Or explore our bands
If you have a clearer idea of the kind of performance you're after, browse our party bands, interactive bands and tribute bands.
These categories aren't intended to put every performer into a box. Some acts cross several of them, while others offer something completely different.
Discover something different
Sound Choice isn't designed to become an enormous directory containing thousands of acts. The performers featured here are deliberately selected, which means you may discover something you hadn't originally thought to search for.
Take a look at the artist pages, watch the videos and explore how the different shows work. An interactive band, specialist live production or unusual performance format might turn out to be a much better fit than the type of entertainment you first had in mind.
Found an act you like?
Each artist page includes information about the performance, video and indicative pricing to help you decide whether the act could be right for your event.
When you've found something you like, make an enquiry directly from the artist page with your date, venue and event details. You can also read how Sound Choice works to find out what happens next.
