About Sound Choice
Live entertainment, carefully chosen
Sound Choice was created with a simple idea: finding a brilliant live act shouldn't mean searching through hundreds of bands that all begin to look the same.
We're building something smaller, more selective and more personal.
Every act featured on Sound Choice is carefully chosen. Rather than becoming another enormous entertainment directory, our aim is to showcase a collection of performers we genuinely believe are worth discovering — from outstanding party and function bands to interactive shows, tribute acts and specialist live entertainment. Professional performers can find out more about joining Sound Choice.
Built by people who actually perform
Sound Choice has been created from inside the live music industry.
We understand what goes into delivering a great performance because we do it ourselves: rehearsals, travelling, loading equipment, soundchecks, last-minute changes and, ultimately, stepping onto a stage and making sure an audience has a fantastic time.
That experience also means we understand the other side of the booking.
Whether you're organising a wedding, corporate event, private party, festival or public show, choosing entertainment can be a significant decision. You need clear information, realistic expectations and confidence that the act you've discovered online can deliver when the day arrives.
That's what we want Sound Choice to provide.
Quality rather than quantity
We aren't interested in having the largest number of acts.
Sound Choice is deliberately curated, with each artist given the space to show you properly what they do through video, photography and straightforward information about their performance.
It means fewer acts to wade through and a collection that we can stand behind.
Some are established professional bands with years of experience. Others may offer something unusual that we think deserves a wider audience. What matters is the quality of the performance and the experience they can offer.
A better way to discover live entertainment
You might arrive knowing exactly what you want. You might simply know that you want your guests to have a brilliant night.
Either is fine.
Explore Sound Choice by the type of act, music, occasion or experience you're looking for, watch the performers in action and discover the acts that genuinely suit your event.
Because finding great live entertainment shouldn't be about having the most choices.
It should be about making the right one.
